Our very own Dr. Danielle Bayer implanted her first Watchman FLX Pro in an Atrial fibrillation (Afib) patient at USA Health Providence.

About Watchman FLX Pro
The WATCHMAN FLX Pro is FDA approved and designed to further advance the procedural performance and safety of the WATCHMAN technology. The device is indicated to reduce stroke risk in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) who need an alternative to oral anticoagulation therapy.
About Dr. Bayer
Dr. Bayer earned her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Pre-Medicine and Spanish at the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa. She then went on to medical school at Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Regents University. Bayer completed her residency and two fellowships at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She also holds certifications in ABIM Cardiovascular Disease and National Board of Echocardiography.
