To improve access to advanced cardiovascular care across the Gulf Coast, USA Health has acquired Mobile Heart Specialists P.C. The practice will continue serving patients under the name Mobile Heart Specialists at USA Health with existing locations in Mobile and Evergreen and will maintain its full range of comprehensive cardiac services for the region.
The cardiology group includes physicians Chad M. Alford, M.D., Noel W. Bedwell, M.D., Christopher S. Brown, M.D., Kevin B. DeAndrade, M.D., and W. Dale Hardy, M.D. Together, they offer expertise in general cardiology, interventional procedures, electrophysiology, coronary and peripheral artery disease, and advanced rhythm management, including ablations, implantable defibrillators, and pacemakers. The practice also maintains a full non-invasive diagnostic laboratory.
The group will continue to serve patients at its existing locations, 6701 Airport Blvd., Suite A-107, in Mobile and 100 Lewis St. in Evergreen.
“Expanding this partnership represents an important step forward in strengthening cardiovascular care across our region,” said Natalie Fox, DNP, chief executive officer of USA Health. “By integrating Mobile Heart Specialists into our academic health system, we are enhancing collaboration across specialties, expanding clinical reach, and improving access to high-quality, coordinated cardiovascular care closer to home for patients throughout the Gulf Coast.
“This partnership builds on our longstanding relationships and shared commitment to advancing patient care while training the next generation of cardiologists.”
DeAndrade, partner at Mobile Heart Specialists, said the transition represents an opportunity to expand both clinical reach and academic collaboration. “This is an exciting time for all of us,” he said. “Expanding our relationship with the region’s only academic health system will further enhance our community’s access to the most advanced heart medicine possible.”
