Anticoagulation Management

Anticoagulants (also called blood thinners) are often prescribed to people who have blood clotting problems due to thrombosis or other disorders that increase the likelihood of blood clots—including atrial fibrillation, cardiovascular disease and stroke. The physicians of Mobile Heart Specialists work with their patients who are at risk for blood clots or stroke to determine the best course of action for managing and treating disorders requiring anticoagulation.
